In this paper by McManus and colleagues (BMJ 2021;372:m4858, doi:10.1136/bmj.m4858, published 20 January 2021), the authors realised that three subsections of table 1—female sex, deprivation and marital status—have errors due to a duplicate observation in the baseline data of the usual care group. This had the effect of changing the numerator in two places and the denominator in six places. The article and online PDF will be updated in due course.
